We will show you the story of the young Friedrich Smetana, a student at the grammar school in Pilsen, but mainly a young boy who fell in love here for the first time in his life. It is all true. The fiction comes in when we show you how love is developing from inept attempts to write a poem to the famous polka known as the Memory of Pilsen.
